CDC Insight Net Annual Meeting: IRS Showcases SOAR Capabilities

International Responder Systems' team of technical experts showcased cutting-edge disease forecasting technology and strengthened national partnerships at this year’s Insight Net Annual Meeting, held at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between April 27 and 29, 2026.
During the annual gathering, our team presented live demonstrations and interactive sessions highlighting our STLT Forecasting & Analytics Response (SOAR) tool. The team showcased the platform's ability to support public health professionals across the United States in detecting, monitoring, and better responding to infectious disease outbreaks.
Our team also collaborated with fellow Insight Net Centers as well as state and local health partners. These discussions focused on strengthening nationwide coordination and improving rapid response strategies.
The meeting also served as a forum for advancing Insight Net’s broader mission: building a robust, nationwide disease modeling network capable of identifying and responding to emerging health threats before they have time to spread.
