IRS Welcomes New Chief Medical Officer

We're thrilled to welcome our new Chief Medical Officer, Greg Mears, MD.
Dr. Mears brings decades of expertise as an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) physician, educator, and specialist in performance improvement.
His prior experience includes serving as the original Principal Investigator for the National EMS Information System, Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and EMS Medical Director at North Carolina State.
As our new Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Mears will serve as a strategic advisor focused on healthcare analytics and EMS programs.
