On September 3, 2026, our CEO James Mullikin and CTO Youssef Ziouani represented International Responder Systems at the National Institute for Defense Health Cooperation’s (NIDHC) Military‑Civilian Health System Modeling Stakeholder Meeting in Bethesda, MD. The gathering brought defense and civilian leaders, researchers, and technical experts together to advance a shared vision for a resilient, data‑driven health ecosystem.
Meeting Highlights
Government and civilian health modeling teams convened to address critical challenges in health system resilience and operational capability. Participants focused on aligning dynamic modeling efforts with Department AI and Data Strategies, creating a shared foundation for consistent, secure model development. Key outcomes included:
Streamlined processes: Practical steps were discussed to reduce friction across modeling workflows and accelerate model deployment.
Shared data definitions: Teams worked to enforce common definitions and standards to ensure models speak the same language.
Secure integration: Plans were advanced to integrate health data layers directly into the Warfighter Data Platform while preserving security and access controls.
The meeting also laid the groundwork for a formal Consensus Statement, establishing multi‑agency model interoperability protocols and launching a clear roadmap toward a fully synchronized, data‑driven health ecosystem.
